Questions

The stuff people usually ask

How long does a website take?

Most basic websites take two to four weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how quickly we can get your content and feedback. Custom web apps take longer — we'll give you a real timeline in the proposal, not a guess.

Do I own my website?

Yes. On final payment, the design, the copy we write for you, and your brand assets are yours outright. The reusable components underneath stay ours — but you get a permanent, royalty-free license to keep using them in your site. Nothing switches off, and nothing is held hostage to keep you paying us.

Can I edit it myself?

Usually, yes. We can set your site up so you can update text and images without calling us. And if you'd rather we handle changes, that's exactly what a Care Plan is for.

Can you redesign my current website?

Absolutely. A lot of our work is taking a tired or hard-to-use site and rebuilding it into something faster, cleaner, and easier to run.

Do you provide hosting?

We'll get you set up on fast, reliable hosting and walk you through it. You can keep it in your own account, or let us manage it as part of maintenance — your call.

What happens after launch?

We don't disappear. You can take it from here, or keep us on with a Care Plan — updates, small tweaks, and a real person to call when you need one.

What if I need changes later?

Reach out anytime. Small changes are easy; bigger additions we'll scope and quote up front. Either way, you're never locked into a contract just to get help.

Why not just build it myself on Squarespace or Wix?

You can — plenty of people do. The catch is you still have to build it, keep it updated, and make it look right, and if you outgrow the platform you start over from scratch. We build it for you, custom to your business, and keep it running. No template wrestling, no fighting a drag-and-drop editor.

How are you different from a $99-a-month website subscription?

Those are usually a ticket queue with a rotating designer working off templates — you rarely talk to the same person twice, and you're paying monthly just to keep the lights on. Here you work with one founder who knows your business, building something made specifically for you. Our Care Plan gives you that same ongoing support, with a real person attached.

Why you instead of a freelancer from Fiverr or Upwork?

With a freelancer you're the project manager and you're rolling the dice on quality — and a lot of them disappear the moment they're paid. Here you get a fixed price, a fixed four-phase process, and someone who still picks up the phone six months after launch.

Why not a local web studio?

Some are excellent — we're in the same lane. The difference is we quote a fixed price on a fixed scope instead of an open-ended bill, support is a named plan rather than an afterthought, and the founder you talk to on day one is the person doing the work.
